BARISTA
Cafe Art is an independent cafe in the heart of Cape Cod in Hyannis we are looking for highly experienced and energetic baristas to join our staff! We are seeking people who have had several years of experience in a fast-paced cafe using manual equipment. Excellent shot pulling, milk steaming techniques, and latte art are all required. We use (to be discuses) espressos and coffees – a passion for coffee and attentive customer service is essential! While speed and multi-tasking are extremely important, they must be balanced with maintaining the highest levels of quality. We required working in a very organized and clean manner.

Responsibilities
« Be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about coffee, tea and drink preparation and products
« Deliver exceptional customer service to all customers who walk through our doors
« Prepare and serve beverages and food items consistently by adhering to all recipe standards
« Assist with setup, cleanup, stock work and handling of food items
« Taste all drip coffee and espresso to ensure it meets Café Art standards
« Can multi-task and works well under pressure.
Qualifications
« Minimum of 1 year experience in food service/hospitality desired, but not required
« Customer service focused and solution oriented
« Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers
« Strong math and written communication skills
« Ability to work a flexible schedule based on cafe needs
« Food handlers card may be required according to local and/or state requirements
